Today,
I replaced the ECU, immobiliser, and key chip on my wifes CDTi which cured all the problems I was having, then I collected the V6 2.5 I bought for me as a winter alternative to 2 wheels and, having taxed it online using the new beta .gov system (cost a lot, but I don't even get a paper receipt) drove it home.
Some days, life is just too good to be true :-)
All I need now is a radio code

The other day I managed to get hold of a Single Din Fascia of the type I've been after for quite a while now, but with the added bonus of it already having the Walnut Trim attached... (Thanks Nige! ).

I fitted it the other day, (when it was nice enough to not rain) and was waiting for a reasonably decent bright day to take some photo's but decided I could be waiting for some time, so I took some really horribly dark ones instead - so apologies there...

The Fascia:

Here it was before:

And here it is now: (Again apologies for the shyte lighting).

A vast improvement, even if I say so myself!

Ciao....

Also I thought I might treat my car to some "TLC" giving products as IO was running low.... (A bit of advice - I get the Autoglym from Amazon - saves on the pennies!).

Now just waiting for the bloomin' rain to go away...!!!
