Default 1998 ROVER 220 SD GREEN 2L TD Diesel Loads recently done MOT Sep 15

Sorry I know its not a ZT or a 75 but its sitting doing nothing and I have my hands full sorting the ZTT out. Great car has served us well just needs a bit of love, all the mojor stuffs been done.

New Mintex Discs and Pads (Front) Sep 2014 34.00
New Mintex Rear Shoes MFR 276 Unfitted 24.99

All leather seats from a 2005 Rover 25 worth apparently 150(slight rip in drivers bolster though) Has ZR Trophy I think rear light clusters. Last time I saw them they were £40 each. Additionally has a spoiler from a ZR. Have the orginal flat spoiler if needed.
Total spent this year including MOT £801.24
Paper Tax disc until Dec 31/12/14

Everything ok apart from the usual bad things. Rear wheel arches are prone to rust. Ive been in the process of fixing. Just needs a proper sanding down and repainting.
The car could do with a respray as paintwork is shoddy. Will do ok for everyday but don't go to a
meet.Rover 200s infamous boot and sunroof leak. Everytime I seal a leak another appears at the badly seated weld points etc. I just don't have the place, room or time to even get the silicon out now.Runs fine. Rear wiring loom that runs through boot hinge could do with sorting out, resoldering and heatshrinking (or crimping have those already with heatshrink) the wires in. Really bad rain let water in and rear demister and wiper are inoperable until wiring reconnected.

Open to offers, had on ebay for 595 hoping for calls which I did get, mainly to say I was nuts, they never read was wanting offers. Considering the work thats been done already I'd love what I paid for it which was £425.

Cars at the 'banger' of of the market do better in the local classifieds rather than on a national forum in my experience. With its long list of new parts it has potential to sell at £500 with a full MOT (might be worth considering for £30?), but the ropey paintwork may put people off as may the boy racer lights and spoiler (back to standard would be better).
