Could someone who knows ZT's please tell me if they think the price is realistic please as I have no interest from anyone on this site and I am disappointed as I believe it is a very nice example of a ZT in very good condition......many thanks all

Hi.
No it is not a silly price, you are two weeks away from Christmas, I don't think people have money to spare,

Agreed, not a good time to sell a car, but rather a good time to buy one :xmas-smiley-024:

Also agreed. A very nice car - well priced, just selling at the wrong time.

If you can afford to hold out for a few weeks till the market picks back up because she's worth her price.

Hi Mart and Jackie, I think it looks like a great car at the right price. If it helps, I bought a 26,500 mile 1.8ZT five weeks ago for £2000.00 with a cambelt change due in Jan 2015, which I had done immediately. I bought mine off Gumtree, which is free, why not give it a go. Try also rewording the advert, start with:-

"Stunning MGZT in metallic grey. Offering full service history, 9 months MOT, four electric windows, electric door mirrors, 18" alloy wheels, parking sensors" etc etc. Good luck! :-)

I paid £1500 for mine a year ago - same year and spec as yours but with only 51,000 miles and FSH and, more importantly (in buyers minds), a warranty (K series and all that).

Going by that, I would think you will struggle to get £1000 as a private sale

agree with most of the above, if your prepared to hold out, you could well get close to what your asking.
