1999 V Club CDT NOW SOLD

It is a sad day for me, needs must - I have to sell my PPD Rover 75 CDT. We are moving house etc and I cannot afford to keep my own car...

It has done 167,000 miles and has about 10 months MOT

Spent about £3,000 on it getting most of the mechanical things right. Its been a great car and never let me down....

Its had a 160 remap, pcv filter change, spyhole mod, Arctic hanndbrake compensator mod, inline thermostat, all new discs, pads, shoes, tyres are all about 5 mm and have been fitted from new (Accellera 215/55/R16), Unions are all straight and in good condition, new under bonnet and in tank pumps fitted. Good headlights from a later car, Connoiseur interior. 2x working flip keys. Drives really well. Couple of scratches (see thread). also has 1x new upper rear arm from DMGRS fitted with new rear springs, the other arm is in the post from China and will go to the new owner.

Asking £800 or offers, but it MUST go to an enthusiast. Edit £700

Small bump....

Had one message so far.

Havent mentioned, new exhaust fitted last year, sale includes the CD MP3 head unit and subwoofer, but I have to remove the amp as I was borrowing it from a friend to get the installation going. The stereo system sounds great - the head unit takes the low frequencies off the door speakers letting them perform properly and sends the low frequencies to the sub amp.

Bargain at £800 (**edit £700 no offers) considering all of the work done to fix the usual problems.

Regularly returns over 40 mpg with average driving, pulls really well in all gears.

I will miss this car ...

Very reluctant sale, but needs must

MOT is until 20 Oct 2015...

Deffinitely want it to go to an enthusiast on here if possible, so much work has gone into it....

P.s I have removed the subwoofer and amp at the request of a potential buyer.... Now the deal has fallen through, but there is no boot carpet at the moment...
