Default Location, location, location.......

Might I suggest that a location in the title might help buyers to find a motor in their area more quickly?

It would have helped me when I was looking ................. although I was prepared to travel for a "good 'un"!

I agree...

I know on some Forums there is a minimum detail requirement on the headings. ie; Make/Model/Year/Engine/Trans/Location/Price in a set layout/format. For example:

Rover 75 2001 2.0 Manual in Southampton for £2000.00

Gives a good basic summary for people to go by.

Maybe something for the Moderators to think about...??? (Once they've moved it to the correct section)..

This already exists. See the sticky in this section.

Yes, as a full general description - not as a 'Title' which is what Roverbarmy and myself are referring to.

Definetely useful. I'm sure I put the location in my title.

As I say, it's just an idea from something I've seen on other forums, not necessarily mine.

I think it was the Celica Forum, (one of them anyway) that if your Ad didn't have the stipulated format, it was pulled. It certainly made for easy searching for a particular model or price range.

Also it is the MBClub that only allows the OP to add to his thread. You had to PM the seller. It certainly saved having negative or irrelevant comments left and the resultant arguments

It's possible a location in the tile may put people off because if its too far away they might not look at the thread. Pros and cons for the location in the tile I suppose.

Valid point. Someone might miss out on the ideal car, just because its not within say a 50 mile radius of them and so they don't even look at the listing.
