Had a flat so decided to change wheels for a better set, and as the wheels was off thought I would do the useless handbrake. First time for me and I hope the last. one side adjuster ok the other was mangled and seized required a thin pipe and a mallet used forcefully to get it moving. Now have a great handbrake but the rear shockers are toast so still on axle stands.

Rear badge - any comments?
My rear badge was looking a bit tatty - and whilst I do have a new one I thought I would have a bit of a play as I had some half empty Trophy Blue rattle cans and a few of the MG stickers I used on the chrome door kick plates.
I sanded the old badge down to the metal (paint won't stick on the badge surface) then applied 3 coats of primer, 3 coats of Trophy Blue, then 3 coats of lacquer. I then cut the MG sticker to shape so I could centre it on the badge base and on it went. It looked good on the bench - but it really looks good on the car. |
