Highline head unit testing
Hi,
i have a highline head unit taken from my scrapper last year but because the car was a non-runner, I couldn't test anything electrical. is it possible to bench test the head unit just to see if it powers up? I have both wiring plugs in place on the back but putting 12v to the red/black wires in the upper plug achieves nothing. havent found any wiring diagrams neither. Any ideas? thanks for reading.

Hi Gary,
The wiring for the interconnected units is complex but the Bordmonitor receives its permanent 12v battery supply on pin 7 of C0816 (purple/pink wire) and its ignition key switched supply to pin 11 (light green/white wire). Pin 2 (black) on the same connector is earth. Your connection to the red wire on C0815 applied 12v DC to the RGB red signal input. Unfortunately this may have caused some damage. Simon

Do you have the RAVE CD, the wiring diagram of the set-up is in there?
