GPS Tracker PLUG And PLAY to OBD No SUBSCRIPTION
For those that may be interested, We now have a deal in place to supply GPS Trackers across Europe.
These are Plug and play and do NOT require a monthly subscription payment. -They are great for individuals (espcially those with teenagers or cheating spouses ! LOL) -Excellent for fleet management and control -Taxi's -Locating stolen vehicles Detailed reports tell you exactly where a vehicle has been, where it's headed and how fast it's traveling. Always know for sure exactly where your vehicle is. It is the easiest way to track a vehicle while you, a loved one or an employee are traveling. GPS tracking couldn't be simpler. Just plug the device into your car's OBD-II (On Board Diagnostic) port, which is normally located under the driver's side dash. Use your vehicle's existing port to supply uninterrupted power to your tracking device. Switching cars? Unlike traditional hardwired tracking devices, an OBD GPS tracker can be easily moved from one vehicle to another with no tools and no effort. It's completely "plug and play." Works virtually anywhere in the world Can be moved from car to car 10 second updates Never worry about battery life It provides you with real-time updates, every 10 seconds. Know where the device is at any time, view where it's been, and run reports on the vehicle's behavior from anywhere you have a web connection. Set up geofences to receive alerts via text message or email when your vehicle enters or exits specific areas you choose. Access everything directly from your PC, tablet or smartphone; there are no apps to download. |

Apologies if I've missed this but how much are these?
It's not something I've ever really thought about but it might be a good shout. Ta James |

Not being tied to a subscription is ideal. Cheers James |

I have this unit fitted to one of my companies vehicle for testing.
The unit has to be connected to the obd port as you can also download a app for Android & iPhones and you can messages sent to you phone giving you information on the car, on my way home tonight I got a text message on my phone telling the company van had been involved in a crash as the air bag was deployed. You can also send alarms if the vehicle is over speeding along with a few other settings. It's a great little unit I have been trailing for a month now, it will save us a fortune on the 7 vehicle's we are going to put them in. The units will pay for themselves in not having to pay out all the overtime bills we are getting from our drivers . Now we can keep a check on them.

I guess the downside is it's visible so not much use if the car is stolen or tracking a rogue employee, they can just unplug it..

Just piggy back another J1962 connector to the back of the original, it will be then hidden behind the under dash cover. :xmas-smiley-024:
