2. Peugeot 205 1.4
3. Rover 214 Si 1.4
4. Calibra 8v 2.0

Should expect around 320 miles per tank on mixed driving (unless you have an ENORMOUS right foot)

That works out about 33p per mile. Seems like you got a major fuel leak

I always tend to notice that the gauge levels off for a while around 50% and then slowly go down to 25% and the last 25% goes down pretty quickly. They can be a bit thirsty sometimes but a great deal depends on your overall driving style.

In the Discovery it just goes down quickly and if I don't have my wallet on me I can't floor it

I get about 340 miles to the tank - 17p per mile. Can live with that.

If you are only averaging 15 miles a day, I guess thats there and back? you are not even getting up to temperature so probably not far out. Running cold all the time maybe 14-16 mpg about right? Dave

This is true as you will be running on a rich fuel mixture i.e choke on both journeys!!! good excuse to go for a longer drive!!!
