I think it would be very beneficial to the club if that were to happen.

We need members to step forward and volunteer. Of course there are in fact still two areas available, to quote Simondi on the Poll thread:

Fair enough...this time can we be told the suitability criteria required by the Directors for anyone wishing to volunteer please?

Must be at least 45
Must be a qualified driver
Must not critiscise the running of the club in any way
Must be most members 2nd choice

I think that covers it Does anyone want to apply? Dave

Well as I and the other members of the team are neither Pete nor Christopher, that would have to be a no from us.......as for the the Owners, I would imagine reading a member's post history might be an excellent place from which to start.

Amen to that Paul Overall though, not merely looking for posts in isolation or out of context to support a specific view.

Of course, being aware of the eminently satisfactory credentials of the previous applicant, one might now be wary of applying for fear of arbitrary rejection.

It'd only be fair to members who are prospective candidates to know the criteria upon which they will be judged. How would reading a member's post history be helpful in the Directors deciding their eligibility?
