Default Where have they all gone to

I traveled to Southampton ex Doncaster with a few calls en route. Next day upon return, including visiting some friends in Oxfordshire, I did a total of 498 miles. I was on the lookout, as one does on long journeys, for 75/ZT's but I did not see one until coming back into our village, about a mile from home. = 497 miles Sad.

Sadly doing searches on the usual sites including the likes of eBay, Gumtree and shpok, there seems to be a large number of owners (present circumstances mean I am one of them), who have their cars off the road and/or up for sale. Hopefully they can find owners that will want to keep them trundling along the highways and byways for a lot longer to come.

I travel regularly from the South West to north Wales, 5 years ago I used to encounter as many as 18 Rover 75's on a single journey. Sadly nowadays 2 or 3 is the norm, and sometimes none at all.

You should try driving around in one of these:

I have never seen another one "In The Flesh"...... I suppose it doesn't help that there are only about 350 left on the road which means about one for every 268 square miles!

Rover 75's & ZT's, at least 4 to 5 every day. And that's just going to the shops!

One for sale locally (for peanuts if you ask me) and it is one of those ones ' I wish I had space etc' that and the legend, I have always fancied one of each.

sent from my ZT
