Default IPK question

Following on from a different thread, I am a little confused with regards to which type of IPK I have fitted.
The direction indicator stalk has the push end which brings up info in the top display, but if I have a bulb failure etc I get no extra info.
Pics of the IPK in question:

I'm pretty sure the bulb failure info is displayed a few seconds after you turn off the ignition. Nothing will show if all bulbs are ok.

Depending on what bulb has failed, you may need to turn on the lights before the warning shows on the IPK.

When one of my indicator bulbs went, I got a BIG orange warning on the message IPK whilst I was driving, when you turned off the ignition, it showed w

whip a bulb out and turn on ignit=ion see if it shows pic of car and highlighting the bulb area ..you should get the pic of the car up showing what the problem is ,it lights for around 10 seconds before reverting back to the icon of bulb failure ..

Just to clarify :

1) When the car is running and a bulb is not working, it will just show a yellow bulb in the top left corner of the screen.

2) When the ignition is on but the car ISN'T running, it will show a car diagram indicating which bulb has gone.

OK folks.
Humble pie time.
I'm as thick as a brick.
It must be the full message centre type.
Not sure I agree with all the operational comments, but if I disconnect the main beam lead, I get no warning until I put main beams on. At this point in time I get the bulb failure symbol but no further information. After this it gets a little more complicated depending on whether or not I turn the lights off before the ignition, but I do get a "Main Beam Bulb" failure message.
Obviously I have never been looking at the display with the correct considerations before, because I didn't know precisely what it did (even though I have read the handbook several times!).
Thanks for all the input guys.
I stand corrected.

Mick
