A missed chance.

The hotel used as the focus of Fawlty Towers is to be demolished.

What a missed chance to turn it into a themed attraction .

The series is loved worldwide and many would flocked to it .

How hard would it be to enlist lookalikes to give tours and stage scenes.

I despair sometimes of missed chances .

I guess the problem being is that one, it isn't in Torquay and two it was only the outside used, the inside being a stage set

I still agree with you though, I'm sure it could have worked especially as in my opinion it was the best comedy of all time ........just don't mention the war

Yes i know but an attraction is an attraction .

There was dosh to be made there .

We havnt a clue in this place .

I thought it was the white building they used in the outside filming of the sitcom. Seems it was the one where Cleese stayed and wrote the series on that hotel owner.
