Default My poor Rover 75 is no more

I've just had a crash! Some silly woman cut straight across me into a junction and smashed the front end in. To be fair to rovers build quality, her car was a lot worse but I'm sure it will be a write off. Never had an accident before so if anyone's got any tips on making a claim I'd appreciate it.
Sorry mr edd! Your poor baby is looking worse for wear!
I'll put a pic up later when I'm up to it!
Dan

Sorry to hear that Dan.

These things happen within a split second and leaves us with very little time to react.

No consolation to your car, but the main thing is that you're OK.

If it is a write off, hope you can find something just as adequate to fill the void.

Cheers, not to bad, it was only low speed so no real injury, bit of a chemical burn on my hand from the airbag and a bit of a sore shoulder, just shaken up more than anything.
I'm just gutted cause I know the insurance will write it off and give me *** all for it, and when I think of the work that me edd putt into it I know none of that will be paid for.

Dan, I am so sorry to hear about your sad loss, I remember your thread asking for advice as to which car to opt for. I have only had my cdt connoisseur for 3months but it has allready become a pampered pet, I worry as much about it's wellbeing as if it were a close family member, I think you will get another 75, all the best for the future.

No fault accident, you need to speak to Winn Solicitors in Newcastle before your insurance company. They specialise in no fault accidents. You will not lose your NCB and will not affect your premium. As soon as you speak to your insurance Co. it's on your file and will affect your next premium fault or not your fault. People think because it's not their fault, it will not affect their premium - IT DOES.

Winns will keep everything intact and claim against the other persons insurance without your insurance company being informed.

In case you're worried, it's no fee. They are first solicitors to provide this in UK as Winn was in a crash himself and was ****** off at being penalised through no fault of his own.

Balls! I've spoken to the ins co. They are getting someone from claims to call me back but the woman I spoke to took all the details. Any chance I could phone them and say it didn't happen? Lol
As for buying the car back, how does that work? I might be lucky and they could fix it but I seriously doubt it. Just from looking at it, it will need a new wing, bumper, bonnet, lights, radiator, airbags, windscreen, and all the other bits that go along with it. Lots of cash I think!

Your car will be written off as the airbags have been deployed go and remove the radio and any other choice parts before they take the car away
