For the rear seats:

"The rear squab will lift at the front and then you have reach to the back and
pull backwards slightly. Then you will need either a T42 or T45 to undo the middle seat belt from the floor of the car."
- From "Retro fit of rear sunblind PDF"

Thanks Simon, but its the front cover removal I'm after.

I'm going to retro-fit heated seats so I need to get the covers off.

Have you managed to source the elements yet?

I am also looking into doing this along with the cruise control. Might as well get all the buttons on the panel working!!

Keep us updated with progress and pics if you would It will be a few weeks before I start working on it in any detail but if you havn't pushed on with it by then we will be able to share resources and gained knowledge!

Fairly sure a member has already done this, I think I came across a thread when I was looking for info on retrofitting the memory seats.

Have a look here for my source: http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=17759.

Not OEM and I don't know if they will fit yet.

The proper MGR elements are over £40 each, so thats about £170 for the lot .

The covers are held on with "hog rings". You need a couple of pairs of pliers to twist them open then twist them back when you've changed the cover. You should really use new ones as the can snap when twisted.

There are also special pliers that are not too ridiculously just for this job (putting them back on) they save your fingers and patience!

I have replaced many a seat cover on fleet cars without hog ring pliars.A decent grade /thickness cable tie will suffice as long as you make sure the ratchet bit is folded downwards into the foam.
