Cable for driver's window

I've posted about hearing a clunk and then whirring when trying to open my window and asked if anyone knows where I can get hold of the part as my mechanic is having trouble finding one. Does anyone have the part for sale?

Sue, you have replies to your original thread. Do have a look at them.

It's best to keep all correspondence in one place so try to avoid starting new threads on a subject that you've already raised. It gets very messy if advice is split between two threads which doesn't help you solve your problem!
