Saw something similar this week. Some numpty has managed to take out the national speed limit sign on a straight bit of road, at the point it goes from a a 40 limit. And all on a road where there are signs telling you quite how many other numpties have managed to bury their motor in a ditch / tree / other car.

Mind you, by far the best signs I saw were:

Please obey the signs (only funny because it was the only sign there)

Wrong Way (on a slip road onto a motorway / interstate two different continents)

Herds of animals must phone from here (cows cant operate the dial)
