Sounds like sunroof drains are your most likely culprit to me, last one I did the tube was detached from the rubber grommet in the bulkhead & dangling into the car.

Also tourers can be a nightmare for leaks in the back end, side mouldings, side windows, tailgate seals etc.

Check the obvious stuff like door seals & make sure they’re not damaged & haven’t come adrift in the corners & also make sure the joint is butted up nice & tight.

Might be worth giving the car a good dousing now that the interior is stripped & see where the puddles form. Trouble is with the carpet in place the water gets into the foam on the back of it & travels & might throw you off the scent.
Be prepared for it to take literally weeks to dry your carpet, I always have a pre dried one in stock & just swap them to save time

That’s exactly like the last one I did.
If you were a bit closer to home, you could come & help yourself to an exchange carpet, it would save you 3 or 4 weeks

Be prepared for the foam backing to split, seperate and chunks to fall off as it dries. Once dry it can be glued back together quite easily. Mine took 3 tubes of UHU. Check the side impact sensors for water ingress.

Lee.
