Failed to connect
Jeff/Coolcat - can you advise please if there's a fix for my 'star' - twice it failed to connect. When it's alive, it's really good so, any assistance would be appreciated...just a few months old.

Hi John This could be as simple as Antenna Location. Have you tried connecting with antenna outside of the car (Just to try) Some cars also have thermal windscreen qualities which is one of the things that actually blocks GPS signals . so it should not be directly under the windscreen Sean |

Sean/Anyone, I've tried two different locations - I'ts working fine at the moment but I'm expecting it to default anytime soon - such is my experience over the last few weeks, If anyone else has experienced similar and have come up with a 'fix' would appreciate their sharing. Windscreen- standard.

Thanks Jeff - my contacting to activate the Sat Nav is intermittent. (Connecting to the GPS) I have tried locating the aerial in two different places but it's still intermittent. The aerial is not magnetic like my previous one but is retained with a sticky glue. Can you advise where it should be located for good /best reception please
