Thanks Stuart

I have reached the same point via another route. I wondered what was the problem with the original IGO as issued with the Nav 3. I had a backup copy of the card from that and wondered if all that was wrong was the fact the card could not be written to.

So I uninstalled everything relating to IGO. Copied the old Nav 3 version to flash memory, and it installed perfectly, no errors no warnings. Also all my old favourites came back because it was a backup of the card as it had been working! Skins work, TTS works.

I have emailed Sean to let him know, my belief is all the problems are down to the later version of Android. So why did the factory not know this?

I have also been fiddling with "Tasker" to get it to delete old videos from the DVR I now need to wait a few days to see if it auto-deletes old files. The NAV 3 camera software simply overwrote old files when the card was full, but whoever wrote the DVR software must have been not thinking - it pops an error message saying no space left, but does not offer to delete old files, nor does it do so automatically. Daft Frankly! Does anyone know if other units that store DVR video in the unit (as opposed to dedicated card in the cameras as per the Nav 3) tidy up old files or expect the user to remember every couple of days?

I have also just been away for several days, towing caravan and now IGO is behaving properly I am very pleased with the Eclipse. Instant on is great its just they have not tested a few combinations they should have done.

Hello Mike

Glad to hear you resolved IGO and TTS etc. Like you I think it's a great unit and will be perfect once Sean (and the factory) resolve the issues I have with lack of IPOD and DVB-T connectivity.

The next thing I want to look at is getting the online traffic working for me on IGO and once they are back in stock I hope to receive my OBD2 adapter from Sean/Jeff so I can try "Torque" out

Cheers

Stuart

I have been into factory settings many times using password 126.

Any help much appreciated

Thanks

I found that a couple of times. Reboot (via the recessed reset button on the right by the tuning knob) and try again. Seems daft I know but it worked for me!

Thanks very much Mike. You are right on both counts, "seems daft" and "it worked"

Cheers

Hi Ken
Thanks for the suggestion, a reset as Mike suggested did the trick, but I'll bear your suggestion in mind if it happens again.

Cheers

Hi All

"Online Traffic with IGO"

I've had no success getting this to work. From looking around Google it may be I need to make some additions to the sys.txt

Has anyone actually got it working and if so could you post your sys.txt here so I can compare it with mine?

Cheers

Stuart

Hi All

Pleased to say I've got Online Traffic working now on my Eclipse. It was as I suspected a problem with the sys.txt file that came with IGO on this unit. During my search for an answer I came across an old thread on here from August 2015 where John (Milford Man) had posted.

So almost 2 years later, thank you John.

Cheers Stuart

I had part of this in my sys.txt file but not all of it and some incorrect. Obviously you will need a Wi-Fi connection as well for it to work.

Regards John"
