New Guy Looking for a 260
Hello,
Quick intro, I'm Charlie - live near Glasgow, married with one daughter. Now, quite a bonafide petrol head having owned everything from a Alfa 156 2.5 Veloce, Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo, Jeep Grand Cherokee V8, E39 530i Sport, Zafira GSi and Impreza STi (plus lots and lots in between) I recently sold the Impreza, time to grow up again the Mrs thinks - so on the look out for a sensibly priced ZT 260. I fancied a drive in a 260 before commiting to buy, but unfortunatly I don't know of any near me up here! SO...... Prefer a Mk1 (like the front styling) - must be SE model for the spec (zenons, leather, nav etc). Would consider a ZTT - actually doesn't bother me. Need history, or priced to reflect this. As said I am "up north" but I will travel the country to buy the right car, so appreciate honesty in descriptions. I have budgeted max £6500 for the perfect car for me, subject to condition/location/mileage/history etc (and after watching 260's prices for the past 6 month, this should get a good Mk1, possibly a MK2). I am away for a short break to Newquay very soon, but will be checking emails etc. If you are thinking of selling, or know anyone who is - be sure to think of me, PM me, or email spec/pics etc Thanks for reading.... Charlie p.s Yes, I have noticed the ZT on Ebay, etc, I am on there along with Pistonheads/Autotrader almost hourly |

I have seen the ZT-T, my Mrs contacted the gent on my behalf - seems finance is owed on the car which is more than I think it's worth (£6200 max) giving lack of history (or invoices etc) Shame, nice car. As said, I live, eat and breathe Autotrader/PH/Ebay just now, not in a huge hurry though, the cash is sitting just waiting on the right offer. Thanks for the welcome guys |
