I think that owners of Black Oak steering wheels would have to permantly park in the shade in order prevent the "fading".

The cost of a new wheel was a reasonable £99 from Les at SMC.

would it be worth coating them with a layer of uv reflective but clear laquer?

Do you know I parked just like that a few weeks back in one of those godamn awful chain store carparks; mine was the only car there .......................

Guess wot ?




I kid you not but some numpty in a Vauxhall Safira parked 10 inches away from mine. I had to get in through my passenger door.
I wish I had taken a pic & left a note on her windscreen, saying something like
" Next time, can you leave me your name & address so I can come & block you in"
That day beggared belief.
