Original Advert Photo's...

Was just whiling away the time and I thought I wonder how many members here still have the original photographs from the advert of their car when they bought it?
I thought it might be interesting to see, and to remind one, of how it looked before we got our grubby hands on it!...

Anyway, to get the ball rolling here are mine - directly lifted off the AutoTrader Ad:

I think you will see that it was quite a 'looker' to start with.... I was fortunate!

And the bonus being it was only about 20 odd miles down the road in Romsey....

ps. These were taken at the owner's actual house - lovely it was. And you should have seen the MkI Jag in the garage!!!!!

Here's the pics that my car was advertised with...

Lots of changes since then - private plate, new interior, xenon headlights, stainless exhaust, blue interior lighting, to name a few!

This was the only photo in the Auto Trader advert for my ZT. The only reason I viewed it was because it was local and the plan was to view about three or four and build up an idea of the cars before buying one. My old 45 was still very much alive but the 1.4 engine was a little gutless.
Look at the thickness of the muck on the roof & bonnet. I was offered a test drive and foolishly I just fell in love with it. Lol
