Loved the 6 overall, even the interior that was slated by early reviews is quite nice - I wish I had the room to have kept both cars, but I had to have a ZT while there are still a few good ones out there.
I love the look of the 6 (the saloon in particular) - it always drew good comments from passers by and passengers about how it looked and how comfortable it is (before the usual 'I didn't know MG were still going'!). Power-wise I thought it felt a little underpowered at times - but once you get the revs up and the turbo kicks in, they are reasonably quick. The gear change was the worst part for me, it didn't feel great - it was very light and notchy - although this can be fixed with a heavier gear knob apparently (about £80 from MG I believe). The only real problem I had was when taking it to a local garage and they had never seen a 6 before, and struggled to source parts from any of their suppliers...the forums saved the day there. I have a feeling I'll end up with another MG6 in a couple of years when the ZT has drunk my wallet dry |

I'm running one and it originally was a hire car, it's a diesel and drives well, but I do find the inside cheap

I have to say I do prefer the ZT interior, feels a nicer place to be - although I didn't miss the rattling door lock pins!
