No response? Anyway, to assist, I've had this 'unable to contact GPS' three times over the last four days but each time I've overcome by - when I get up to speed and it's safe to do, I switch off the Engine for about 3/4 seconds and switch on again. Bingo all is working again. (reboot on the move?)
Please, what does this indicate? Incorrect setting up? Ariel wrongly located/ positioned or indeed an internal fault?
Any assistance would be appreciated.
John

Only just seen your reply John.

The antennas usually work fine mounted above the heater vents behind the head unit but you could try relocating to the top of the dash.
If it still has problems I would suggest contacting Sean and arranging another gps antenna to be sent out for you to try .

Hi John

Agree 100% with Jeff;s assesment, It seems to be either a location or an Actual Aerial issue. We have in stock and can send one.

Default Navall Star home screen

Without having to trawl through all the pages in this thread, can someone tell me how to stop my Navall Star from booting up into the ES app every time I start the car? It's very annoying. I would rather it just went straight to the home screen and stayed there!
Thanks to anyone taking time to reply.

The ES app is not critical to the operation of the Navall Star then?

Sean, It is the Aerial, as over the last days I've had only one small hiccup....progress - looks as if Jeff's information has gone a long way to resolving. Will take you up on another aerial and if possible, one which has a magnetic base. Are the incoming Aerials compatible and if so should be more efficient - progress.
What price is the moniter for Wheel tyre pressure?
cheers
John.
Might still go for the 'new' model part exchange - we'll see
John

Question DAB currently unavailable message

Keep getting this message when trying to use DAB about 50% of the time. Is there any solution for it as it's driving me mad.
