I may well swap them out for some genuine ones next time I need something from Rimmers!

Quick update, the Klarius exhaust was absolutly terrible! Not just the bad fitment, but it was noisy, extremly boomy when on the move, not what you want from the wafting 75.
I sent it back as faulty for a full refund as I managed to find a NOS genuine exhaust which had been sat on the shelf at SMC for 8 years. Not cheap, but it fits so much better and is silent - should also last another 11 years like the last one

I fitted a Klarius back box to my 1.8T R75 saloon, but found it was hanging too low. Hence I cut about 1 1/4" from each of the hanger brackets and then welded them back up.
The exhaust dual tailpipe sits nicely now and is almost hidden from view like the original. One point to note if you go down this route, my car does not have a rear anti roll bar hence was able to shorten the hanger brackets slighty. I also had to grind a wee bit off the redundant anti roll bar mounting bracket on the subframe so the exhaust pipe would not strike it going over bumps. Still not as quiet as the original, but getting used to it over time, buts its still many times better than the one I removed which boomed big time. |

I'm glad i never bought the Klarius backbox then
at the cost of these parts you'd hope for a better fit I got a cheap backbox from GTexhausts (Ireland) £54 delivered - fits great, doesn't sit low and is nice and quiet Paul. |

This was my story of fun with a budget exhaust.
http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=213570 Really not worth DIY...

Quick update, don't bother with exhaust hangers from ECP, both cracked and stretched, one already failed so I have replaced with genuine ones from rimmers.
