Something about a recent blood test is causing concern, doesn't say what but he reckons the problem has been there since my appendix burst, hell that was about 5 years ago

He has requested a scan of my liver and wants another, different, blood test. The letter arrived late today, the surgery had already shut so I'll have to wait until Wednesday before I can find out what is causing concern. New year celebrations are going to be the last thing on my mind 'til I find out what's going on!

Afternoon all - from a rather dismal, grey North Yorkshire. The frosts seem to have retreated for a few days, and we've got cloud, wind, reasonable temperatures and a threat of rain. Mind you, the forecast for Monday is for a VERY cold day and a sharp frost at night.
I can't believe how quickly 2016 has gone by - it seems only yesterday I was reaching the pension book age of 65 - now I'm only 4 weeks away from 66

To everyone in the OC, and especially the inhabitants of the LCOZ - here's wishing you a happy, prosperous, peaceful - but above all else - a HEALTHY New Year.
Roll on Spring and the return of the sunshine and green grass.
