Default The scrapyard express is up for sale

Where to start, bought it from a scrapyard about 18 months ago after seeing it on ebay and having a must have it moment, needed a 2nd car and like to have older cars i can tinker with, parted with £295 and it was on the driveway. 2001, 86k and original cam belts, a £15 drop link and a £30 replacement wheel saw the mot passed so i thought id better do the belt, or belts as i found out, not bad to do actually and ive only ever done a handfull of 4 pot 8 valves, full service whilst i was at it including the rear plugs, they are fun, harder than the belt change!, since then its had the mondeo bottom engine mount mod, thermostat change keyhole style (easy!) Ive given it a low budget but highly effective home made ram air performance air filter mod and an oil catch tank to stop the little electric motors in the plenum getting fecked as id read oil killed them off, that and i wanted to its just been through its mot with no advisories and i wasn't looking to change it but my holy grail car came up so the scrapyard express is now surplus to requirements, good points, no dents no rust, all the things that are usually mechanically wrong were and i fixed/modified them, cam belts and hurrendous rear plugs done so you will never have to remove most of the skin of your hands trying to get those ridiculous little bolts back in the coil packs, the engine runs like a swiss watch, its the 190hp, endless power and it just goes, no nasty mechanical noises at all she will run for years. Bad points, the paints not perfect but not bad for a 16 year old car, the roof lining sags a bit, the air con is air but not con, the central locking unlocks on the keys but not locks so you have to lock it manually and a couple of the tyres need pumping up weekly, the last 2 are fairly common problems i think and if i was keeping it id have the wheels refurbed. So, if anyone out in mg/rover land wants a 2001 190hp zt-t with just under 90k on it, 11 months ticket, all the nasty oily bits done and i'll throw in the towbar+electrics i just bought but haven't fitted all for.the bargain price of £400 ovfno drop me a line. I can send photos via email or look up #scrapyardexpress on instagram and admire the beauty! https://www.instagram.com/p/BVK6N2Sjend/ https://www.instagram.com/p/BSoU1d1Dw2G/ https://www.instagram.com/p/BSDtd1Qjtc1/ https://www.instagram.com/p/BQGu9yXDrXf/
