Default Failed remote locking

Hi folks for some reason my central locking has stopped working. I have put new battery in the fob and changed the fuse. Resyncing did not work either. So I am at a loss.

Hi Terry,

Does the master switch on the centre console lock and unlock the doors?

Does putting the key blade in the driver's door lock barrel work?

Simon

Is failing to both lock and unlock, or is it just one or the other?

Hello Terry,

This is RAVE's resynchronisation procedure. Is this what you've tried?
  1. Ensure that the driver's door is closed and unlocked. Use the key blade to unlock it if necessary.
  2. On the key fob, press the lock button four times.
  3. After the fourth button press, the BCU should react and the door sill button should retract, i.e. indicating that the door is locked.

Have you tried it at another location? The signal may be jammed where you are.

Smart door bells have been implicated in signal disruption - i recall a poster in Aussie had this problem.

My central locking does not work in the parking spaces nearest the doors to my local Coop.
