Did not do a lot today, but managed to give Goldie a good clean. The first for three weeks. Got a service kit for the alternator, so will be having a go at fitting new contacts in the solenoid.

Fitting a dashcam, get power from near mirror
I had a dashcam lying around for a while, but a couple of incidents recently sparked me in to action to actually fit it. Will mount with a suction cup high up more or less out of my line of sight behind the mirror. Now I need to power it with 12V.... is there a convenient switched power wire up there inside the courtesy light module?

Swapped out the black oak for real walnut. Visually warmer for the winter! Still cold leather tho......oh the lure of velour!
