Above is the meeting point for the A69,it will be around 8.45 I would imagine, and I think we leave just after 9,but Stu will confirm. If you are planning to join those meeting at Mc Donalds, it will be earlier, as the location is south of the A69.
As Niel mentioned in an earlier post, there will be no right turn into the road that leads to the show ground, due to traffic flow measures in place, so we could take the second exit at Styford roundabout, and travel into Corbridge village, then over the bridge and in to the show ground.
Again,up to Stu to decide, but just putting forward a suggestion.

We are meeting at Metro Centre (outside McDonalds)

and plan to leave at 0830 hrs, then we will drive up to the A69 area where we meet last year, then onto Corbridge, down A69 as you recommend, as we can't turn off at Riding Mill this year, so we will go via the route you have mentioned

Thanks

Stu

Decent forecast for next Sunday,17 degrees and sunny, trouble is got rain tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon, so only 3 days for the ground to dry out.

Tony

Good thing about holding event at Corbridge Rugby Club is that it is well drained, they used to hold the event at Dilston castle, but got flooded out around 10 years ago, and decided to move it, and it has been very successful since, and if it does get wet then it only needs a short time to dry out

Really looking forward to show, as it is a great day out, and I thoroughly enjoy the day at Corbridge

Stu

Just hore a beer tent and bar Neil! I was there a couple of weeks ago for the steam rally, the weather was naff, and the turnout of both exhibitors and visitors was poor. So good forecast will hopefully bring good turnout for us.
