Was at my dads today and decided to fit my grille badge, it's squint but I didn't notice till I looked at the photos lol. I'll fix it later, got a surprise too, last time I started the car was last Wednesday and I had to jump start it as the battery is dead. Opened it today and prepped it to jump start it again but thought I'd check, turned the key and it fired straight up! Took it a run round the block and my dad had a shot as well, really need to work my butt off and get it on the road!
Still to fit my torpedoes and d pillar trims but will do them when the weather changes, car is manky and needs the engine cleaned and leaves removed, but again will be done when the weather breaks along with stripped the Scuttle panel to check and clean out if needed, the plenums. Badge pics, can someone recommend a picture hosting site that I can use since photobucket is still acting up? |

I've got imgur and Flickr and don't know how to post the pictures using them lol.
I did figure it out on imgur but it posted the full 1280x720 picture so had to delete the post. Used photobucket for years as well, easily 12 years and this is the first time it's not worked properly. |

Well I now have 2 working keys thanks to marinabrian! Nothing new on the rover front, putting it in for its mot on Wednesday and with Christmas coming up nothing else will be happening until the new year.

I also have a lovely fresh mot with zero advisories and been instructed by the mot tester not to sell it because it's by far the cleanest ones he's seen for a while. He failed one yesterday for rotten arms!

Lol I used to trade a bit and he's done a few of my sales cars in the past so he knows what I'm like! But after viewing it myself underneath and his comments it would take £2000 before I'd let it go!
Buying a new battery on Friday and will be taxing and insuring it on the 1st January, get the belts done in February and enjoy it! |

New battery was bought Thursday and collected Friday, was gonna fit it on Christmas Eve but with the weather we're having just now it didn't happen lol, hopefully get it fitted tomorrow or Tuesday. Had 1 completely flat tyre so need to investigate that and if needs be 4 tyres will be added to the list.

You need to get some build pictures up, too.
I need a couple of batteries myself. Will get them in the new year. One for the daily diesel and one for the new launch....oh, erm...
