I don't own one but have used a friend's a few times and found it to be very good. It's a Thule model, takes 3 adult size bikes and is very easy to use. I was concerned how secure it would be perched on the towball but it is indeed solidly locked in place. It also has a 'tipping' feature (not all do) which allows you to tip the carrier back away from the vehicle, allowing you to open the boot/rear hatch without the need to remove the bikes first, very useful! All the bike clamps can be locked with a key for added security too.

It's not the cheapest one around, however as we all know you generally get what you pay for!

Agreed they are a good device but don buy the cheap one in Halfrauds, I had one and it lasted less than a few months before the welds started cracking. Needless to say I took it back and got a refund.

I then splashed the cash on a more expensive one.

Don't forget if you obscure your number plate and taillights you need to get a trailer board.

I've had a Thule 3-bike one for a few years. Highly recommended.
