Mum and Cancer
Feel like getting this off my mind.
My mother was diagnosed as having Cancer in the womb area a month back. She leads a full and active lifestyle with no smoking or drinking and is 67. She has been for the full scan in a cylinder unit. On Friday she will find if it is key hole surgery, and if so will have her op on the following Wednesday if all goes to plan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9xBJkPjQfE Mum just over two years ago and still the same running about. She ran a pre school for many years and has been doing toy collectables etc. She was testing out a scooter she bought. The butterfly wings where another story. . . Ps Mum forgets her meds again was a title I put in to make her laugh. Not to be taken literally.

Hi Jay,
Three years ago my Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer, she had a lumpectomy followed by Radiotherapy . She has been in remission since and hopefully will be the end of it. I wish your Mum all the best with her treatment and recovery, positive thoughts Jay for your Mum and yourself .

Jay,
It's a worrying time, but try and stay positive as the treatment for cancer these days is amazing. Over ten year ago my my was diagnosed with cancer of the esophagus sand was given 30% survival rate the medical team at Norwich were superb, also three years ago lymphoma tried its luck and she's still living a full active life. Never stop believing Jay. |
