Cool Today

Today, I unfortunately booked my saloon connie into the body shop as last Tuesday, 4 days after owning her (my first one) someone decided to out of the blue, slam into their reverse gear at a stationary set of temporary traffic lights and ram right into me at a pace. Marvellous. Luckily the damage is minimal and the bumper can be removed, resprayed and then refitted a bit straighter! Not for another 3 weeks mind; still, he is paying for it and all scuffs will be gone as a bonus.

In better news though, I picked up a new airbag from touring50 who it turns out lives in the same village as me and had a spare so I can replace my worn one which didn't match the leather on the wheel anyway, so happy days there and many thanks to Touring50 for giving me the airbag, incredibly kind and a smashing bloke to meet.

Cheers

Three suspension bushes changed, a full service, a PCV filter change, and a good wash including tackling a very dirty engine bay.

Fitted a replacement rear view mirror trim- I was missing half of mine... they're surprisingly hard to get hold of without a mirror and rain sensor to go with it!
