Redfive has been approached by Alf’s family as they wish to find a new owner for his car.
Ian and I have both viewed the car, at the weekend, and we feel that it is so well presented that it deserves a new owner who will continue to cherish it. Anyway, here are some details: The car is a 2.0V6 Automatic and is the top of the range Connoisseur SE model. Full service history, with extensive records, the current mileage is 96,000. Cambelts done circa 15,000 miles ago Being an earlier example, it is fitted with a real walnut dash and this one has a particularly attractive grain. Full chrome grill. Door finishers. Driver side cup holder. Upgraded led tail lights. Upgraded Halo headlights with DRL, supplied and fitted by Klarzy. Sound system has been upgraded with a fitted amplifier and Infinity speakers. The car also has the latest Navall android system, which Alf was in the process of fitting. Coolcat has kindly offered to complete the installation of the unit FOC, at his premises in Clacton. Rear parking camera. Upgraded "Push to Test" VIS motors, supplied by Stocktake. Early black header tank. Extra Upgraded walnut trim. Arctic handbrake compensator fitted. Checked by PhilT4 at the Sammy Miller meet Premium Contact 5s fitted all round, with good tread remaining. The car has a current MOT, which is valid until the 2nd June 2017. I have set up a Flickr library here, with some images of the car. https://flic.kr/s/aHskMrDUtm and some images below: There are also lots of other finishing touches, which are too numerous to mention. It is hard to find fault with the car. There were a couple of advisories on the last MOT, with drop links and brake pads, and the handbrake needs adjusting. However, Alf had sourced the parts (quality components) and they will be included in the sale. There are very small splits in the corners of the two front leather seats, which they all seem to have (mine are worse), but with Alf, being a perfectionist, he has sourced new leather covers, which will be included in the sale. There is also boxes of tools and other spares (pollen, oil filters, trim etc) and a host of other items, that will also be included. I know the car well and in the past I have driven it from Poole up to the Midlands and back. It really is a fine example and drives as well as it looks. The price is £1995. Ian has kindly offered to meet and show the car to anyone who is interested. So, any contact should be made via PM to Redfive. http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...=newpm&u=10095 Here is the build data kindly provided by Reebs: 14 Digit VIN: RJZLKL2D225605 Off_assembly_date YYYY-MM-DD: 2001-09-01 Off_assembly_time: 08:19:35 Brochure_model_code: RJZLK Brochure_model_desc: R75 C3 Saloon 2.0 KV6 (150) Sales_model_derivative: RJWLK Sales_model_derivative_desc: Rover 75 2.0V6 Connoisseur SE, 4dr Model_year: 2002 Home_export: HOME Country: GREAT BRITAIN Paint_code: JBH Exterior_paint: Wedgewood Blue Metallic Trim_code: LBB Interior_trim: Ash / Light smokestone Engine: 2000 NA 150Bhp Trimlevel: Connoisseur SE Bodytype: 4DR Manual_auto: A Hand_of_drive: RHD Thanks for looking guys.
