Default jap import

can anyone help would it work if i swapped jap radio ect centre for normal in dashboard also tried another disc in satnav but it dosnt work either still reading japenese ???

Hello Derek,

The wiring diagrams for UK and Japan installations have many differences so I expect that you would run into problems unfortunately.

Regarding the navigation displaying Japanese, I have checked RAVE for you and it says that European languages are selected using a dealer software CD. On Japanese vehicles it says that a DVD is required.

Yes there is a disc in the boot but it’s just about Tokyo and district

On the radio side of things the FM only goes up to 90,,00 and not 108. Like English can you tell me how to rectify that cheers

I don't think you can Derek. As I said in my previous post, if you simply exchanged the Japan spec. radio module (in the boot) for UK spec. you would run into problems because the wiring connections are different.
