I think it looks great, but don't like the instrument panel.

I like it
For the first time in years ADO were not governed by financial restraints and produced their dream, a beautifully symmetrical car, right down to the slightly tapered filler cap. Sorry to say this to the Phoenix face lift lovers, but those angular bumpers spoiled the look.
Had Phoenix continued with the Mark 1 for us oldies, and simultaneously marketed a more aggressive looking version like this Roewe, to attract younger buyers away from Beemers and Audi's, they might have succeeded in staying afloat. My opinion of course but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Last edited by alanjay; 22nd February 2014 at 23:26.. Reason: spelling correction |

The 75 was intended to restore rovers prestige . They still needed to replace the 45. Company was sunk due to the exhange rate and lack of government support. too big to survive, too small to succeed

Having seen more and more pictures, if nothing else it has a sensible sized glove box!

What's this about a meet at The Frog and Wicket? I can't find it on the calendar, are you trying to exclude us Surreyites?

I agree with Dean the mark one was perfectly balanced, the "chiselled" bumpers on the facelift model took away the pleasing aesthetics. I'll stick to series one for as long as I can

Shame they couldn't have done the same for Rover. |

It'll appeal to die-hard MG owners and not many others. It's hard to see them competing in the Europe with the VAG group and others... sadly.
Cheap and cheerful.

I think it looks great imo. I'd have one for sure.
Even though we can't get the cars over here, wouldn't it be good if we could find a supplier of 750 PARTS in the UK? Looking at the car and under that bonnet, it's obvious how many parts are identical to ours. |
