Question Xenon conversion for ZT?

Can anybody tell me if it is possible to have the halogen headlights on my ZT 1.8T converted/upgraded to the xenon variety as fitted to SE models? My car is maintained by an independent MG/Rover specialist who would be able to carry out the conversion at reasonable labour rates, so I guess it'll be the purchase price of the units that is likely to be the stumbling block.

Can anyone help please?

Cheers, Rupert

If you mean the OEM HID Xenon headlights, then the answer is yes but they will set you back up to around £300 without fitting.
Retail they are just under £1000.

There is much cheaper Kits available on EBay what some members have fitted but I have not seen or used them for Comparison.

Sorry John, I don't quite understand your reply; will the xenon lights cost me £300 or £1,000? Would my local SMC dealership supply them or can you suggest somewhere else I might try?

Regards, Rupert

To buy from a dealer would cost £400 each if you watch EBay you can pick them up for £200/£300 if your lucky.

On my per facelift R75 the lights were a straight swap, you do not need the headlight washers or self leveling suspension when retro fitting.

Kandyman is correct, you can fit the lights as a direct swap, but I did say "factory set up"...........

I'm still working out the differences, and I'll post it up as soon as I know.
