Traced Boot leak but need help
I found that I had a slight leak in the boot so this morning decided to investigate, after a couple of watering cans full, I found the little blighter, it is seeping in through the bottom of a vent on the side of the boot that is behind the boot lining and also behind a metal plate which carries some electrical junctions. The only problem is that I need to remove this vent to refit it and re-seal it but cannot for the life of me work out how to get it off, did not want to force it in case of breaking it.
Is there anyone who can tell me how this vent is removed. MY2001 2.0l V6 Connoiesseur SE Thanks in anticipation of your help Cheers Steve

Thanks Stocktake
That is an excellent how to, brilliant step by step photo's. Looks like next Sunday morning I will be quite busy, and as the "How To" recommends I may as well do both while I have got the bumper off.
Regards Steve

All done
Fixed the leaking vent this morning with the help of not so willing brother-in-law, got the whole job done in an hour and as he is a windscreen fitter by trade we used the sealant that he uses for windsceens. We did not take the one out on the other side (it seemed Ok) but sealed it from the outside of the car then tested it before putting the bumper back on (and afterwards) and it has worked a treat.
Thanks again Mac Rouser for the detailed "How To" and stocktake for pointing me in the right direction. Regards Steve
