airbag removal
hi all looking at changing my steering wheel so I will have to remove the air bag could anybody tell me if I can just remove a fuse instead of disconnecting the battery as I haven't got the radio code thanks

As your car is a Mk 1, my Handbook says that the Airbag Fuse is Number 18!

so in theory if I pull fuse 18 and wait 30 mins I should be safe
