Its not supplied with an external mic, but does have one built in.

Currently trying to see if its better with the built-in or external one. I can't find a setting to enable/disable the external MIC, so it would be helpful to know if that's automatic when an external one is plugged in.

Has anyone else tried different microphones yet?

Also in factory settings there are various choices for TV type, but having worked my way through them (any many other things in the past 6 hours) I've not found one to get the DVB-T tv working yet.

Ipod - In Factory settings Ipod was set to "No" by default, so I changed it to yes, that once it had re-booted gave me a Ipod Icon on one of the screens, but when selected it flashes up with a screen saying " No Music" and then goes back to the screen with the icon on it.

I have e-mailed Sean, so hopefully some help in due course.

Cheers

I tried changing the boot logo on mine, but when I put password 126 in, it displayed 'wrong password'. I reset the unit from the button on the front and tried again but got the same result.

Mine was fine with 126 - so I could get in to set the boot logo.

It was a bit unusual in that I needed to click the button to close the keyboard, and then another (I can't recall the details I am afraid) so is it possible you are entering another character before or after?

Hi Terry, I had the same at one point but I must have keyed it in wrong because next time it worked okay. Perhaps give it another go (if you've not already done so). Jeff posted a useful "how to" video for the logo change earlier in this thread. Shame there was not a Rover MK 2 logo to chose, but no doubt I can find one and upload it.

Cheers

Default Nav 3 to Eclipse users

Those who have migrated to the New Eclipse from a Nav 3....
....how are the fonts for size? my main grumble with the Nav 3 were small
fonts and no way to increase their size.
Has the Eclipse anything in the menu like we have on phones and tablets to make font`s larger??
Ken.

MCU version is the identifying tag the unit has to determine which manufacturer made it.

It's a setting on the unit.
