Default 2002 Rover 75 Club 2.0 KV6 spares/repairs **SOLD**

SORRY SOLD

Rover 75 Saloon
Black
2.0 KV6
2002
MOT mid-December 2015
135400-ish miles
Oil and filter 3 months ago
Near Leicester

£100

It is with great reluctance that I'm going to have to let this car go. I've had it for around 8 years, from about 56K miles. Unfortunately at the weekend I broke down and have been unable to get the car started. AA patrol suspected fuel pump. I know about FFS though so I checked the fuel filter but it is one of the early types which doesn't separate. No fuel appears to be getting to the engine. Unfortunately, I just don't have the time now to investigate all this so I was wondering if any of the members could benefit from spares or even repair. I don't want much, £100 would be great, but I'm open to offers.

Good bits:

Engine still good condition, used to drive perfectly
Thermostat replaced about 2 years ago
Brake lines replaced about 2 years ago
O/S road spring replaced a couple of months ago
Regularly serviced by mechanic friend (very good), always had oil change every year and cam belt replaced in 2010 at just above 90K miles
Boot sealed in 2008
Around £25 petrol still in tank
When polished, despite a few bodywork issues (see below) still looks better than most cars on the road.

Bad bits (In addition to suspected fuel pump issue):

Windscreen cracked near rear-view mirror, will need to be replaced for MOT
Hand break does not have compensator fitted, will need attention for MOT
Despite wheel alignment (with full tank) car tends to wear N/S front tyre (although all tyres fine at the moment)
Interior has a little wear, most notably back of driver's seat where my son has kicked off the upholstery! Passenger seat front also has loose upholstery
Body work generally good condition, but a few scratches and a very slight dent in the N/S rear door. Not excessive for age.
Wing mirrors: N/S has no cover and is loose, O/S has some cracks in lower portion of glass
Repeated cranking by AA patrol and then me and then letting car stand for a week has resulted in a dead battery
Alloys not great.

Unfortunately the car will have to be towed away.

I plan on replacing this with another Rover 75 as soon as I can.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

You have done all that we could, we have no other contact details. As to why there has been no response ?

Edit... From a Google search and based upon location and user name.. http://www.le.ac.uk/eg/mct6/

This would appear a prime candidate.....There is always snail mail or otherwise Just goes to show what Google can throw up about you....
