Default 2001 Rover 75 2.5 V6 Connoisseur 67K with FSH - £450 **SOLD**

Hello, I now need to sell my 2001 connie due to taking on a primrose project. I am loathed to sell the car as I love it so much but needs must.

Its a 2001 2.5 V6 Connoisseur SE in Royal blue with 66,915 miles from new, Full service history, 3 owners. I bought the car last year and instantly fell in love with 75 motoring, the car has performed perfectly in that time and is a real pleasure to drive. Its in good condition but of course being 14 years old there are some small marks, nothing major. The cream leather interior comes up like new.

It never uses any oil or water, and the car was last serviced by British Legends in March less than 700 miles ago!

MOT is until 23 December 2015.

The car was built in April 2001, registered December 2001 and bought new on 22 May 2002.

Service History is as follows;

30/06/03 @ 5,737 miles
25/10/04 @ 12,923 miles
27/10/05 @ 17,509 miles
26/10/06 @ 23,663 miles
29/10/07 @ 29,478 miles
31/10/08 @ 35,576 miles
16/12/09 @ 43,434 miles
16/12/10 @ 51,222 miles
19/11/11 @ 56,101 miles
18/01/13 @ 60,759 miles (Major service costing £702.43)
27/03/15 @ 66,278 miles (Oil, filter, air filter)

Items to note - There is no hard evidence of the belts being done so assume they have not been replaced.

The 3 speed cooling fan is not working on the lower two speeds, however the car never overheats and runs around town between 93 and 97*c (monitored via the digital dash) There are a few guys on here who can help with replacement fans from £80 upwards.

There is a crack on the passenger side windscreen so I would recommend a new screen before the MOT.

Its a lovely car, everything works i.e electric windows, mirrors, remote central locking, electric seats work, CD player etc etc

This car been really well cared for, I know the last two owners, and the first owner was a pensioner who by all accounts mollycoddled the car.

I want it to go to a good home, I am asking £450

The car is in Rochford, Essex.

*please note I am working away this week but I am back in the UK on Friday.

Photo's taken a few months ago after a wash, wax and polish.

Lovely looking car but if you have Windscreen insurance I'd suggest you get that done and pay the excess, sure potential purchasers would be happy to add that to the asking price.

One small point, you don't appear to state whether it's manual or auto, had to really study the pics to work it out.

That's an absolute beauty. Love the colour and spec. Just wish I had a few Extra quid. Good luck with the sale.

If I hadn't bought the Dorcherster/aubergine car I'd have been all over this vehicle. Looks very good.

Hi folks, I owned this car before Stephen and can verify all that he has said.

This is a lovely car and I would buy it back in an instant if I could get hold of the cash earlier than 3 weeks away or so.

This is a pocket money car and just needs a couple of small bits and bobs doing to it to finish it off. It really is as lovely as it appears in the photos.

The crack in the screen is a star like crack and was done by me (doh) whilst changing the A pillar trim (don't ask me how).

I hope it goes to a good home within the community.

Hehe, if you bring the primrose car over I can sneak off and take the blue one with the secret spare key that I have just for this sort of thing.

I now see two problems with this.

1. I have inadvertently informed you of my plan.

2. I don't know where in Essex you have the car stored.

Damn.
