Default Water ingress solved

About a month ago, after heavy overnight rain, I was shocked to find my drivers footwell sopping wet. I thought the car was a bit damp when I bought it but was assured that it was a door seal that had been replaced. My first thought was sunroof drains but they were draining perfectly. I then sought the advice of Jules who felt certain that it was scuttle clip holes, and suggested removal of wiper arms and scuttle to enable silicon to be applied to scuttle clip holes. Unfortunately the wiper arms resisted all my attempts, so in desparation I removed all the scuttle clips and siliconed directly into the holes and then replaced the clips. So far this week we have had 3 days of torrential rain and the car is bone dry, so hopefully job done.

Good job There is nothing worse than water getting in. I had a sopping wet boot for a while but eventually tracked it down to the chrome trim on the rear wings. Siliconed all clips and now lovely and dry
