Just got home after another (and the last for the moment) meal with lifelong friends. Started about 4.00pm when we went down to my mate's farm to celebrate the completion of his newly built office and snooker room. Spent a couple of hours playing two-a-side snooker, whilst the 4 wives satb there & criticised us/laughed at us/insulted us/took the proverbial out of us; then off to the Bay Horse Pub for a huge meal - baked camembert with cranberries and crusty garlic bread, followed by an enormous plateful of "Pork Zackeroff" - breaded pork escalope, smothered in tomato, paprika, sweet pepper and mushroom sauce. Washed down with a drop of draught Stowford Press cider
I was far too stuffed to eat a sweet - can't sleep on an overfull stomach. We're off back to Kendal in the Lakes in the morning to get a warranty job done on my Honda - replacement foglights as the original ones have misted up badly on the inside - so it's an early night and an early rise for me.
Nite nite all

Morning all, another dreary damp and miserable day is on the cards up here, I wish the weather would decide what it wants to do, it's either misty or raining here the last couple of days, no good for anything weather like that

Good morning Tony and Derek. Its very windy and cold here so I won't be venturing very far. I gave the 75 a wash yesterday, for what it's worth at this time of year

Morning all - damp, misty and mild this morning. We're off to Tony's side of the Pennines this morning - looks like a pretty mucky drive over the A66. Hopefully, it might clear up later in the morning, and we'll come home via the scenic route through Wensleydale - where the cheese comes from
