Default VIS .....What does it stand for?

I have spoken to two Xpart dealers in the North West re replacing VIS motors and they have never heard of them!

When I explained where they lived, I was told "Oh we always replace the whole manifold".... its £500!

I have been asked to book in a Danish member (Erik) with a North West Ex Rover dealer to sort his "rattling manifold problem" when he arrives in Manchester next week. Mike has indicated I could fix this for him with new motors as they're fairly easy to replace, however I don't want to finish up with Erik being stranded here if it gets complicated.

Do Rimmers stock these?

Any thoughts?

What does VIS stand for?

Chris
