I knew someone would say "Dude, where's your car", good news, I have picked it up at 4pm and driven it over the Humber Bridge back home to Scunny and it was just a joy to drive, everything is just grand. I am so pleased with it and in love again. Just need a name for it now, I might call it Dudette.

Many thanks for the great welcome you guys have shown me, I will definately look at some of the upgrade options available to put a bit more spring it's step even though it runs very well indeed for a diesel.

Going over to the Jolly Sailor in Keadby tonight to show it off to my mates, we have a muso night there every other Thursday.

Did I tell you I love this car.

By the way, how do I join the club please anyone?

Dude

Right toe, I'll get me digital camera out tomorrow. If you can't wait then go to chevroncars.co.uk and you can still see it on their website in just a couple of clicks, now labelled SOLD.

Welcome to the club Dude. I bought mine 18 months ago and still feel like I have just bought it (you know that proud feeling - makes you smile when you stare out of your front window at it). I was never really into cars much before I bought it (escorts and mundano's being a family man) and am embarassed to admit that I had never heard of the Rover 75 (just seen them round and about with grey haired dudes behind the wheel and thought they were a Jag) Am now very much up to date with these beautiful cars and have even done 1 or 2 mods to my own motor. This club has helped me immensely in sorting out some technical issues and is well worth the sub fee. Lastly, for an 'old man's car' they can't half shift!!

Post a pic soon. Enjoy!!

Hey Dude,

Welcome to the club and hopefully you will enjoy your new car.

To save members waiting for your pictures I visited Chevron as you suggested. Here is Dude's new car in all it's polished glory.

Lovely....
