Clear coat issue

That's my worry, the member I spoke to at Gaydon saying that my colour is a nightmare to match is my biggest concern. At the moment my roof only has tiny spots, I think for starters I'm going to touch over with lacquer with a brush as you would for bonnet stone chips which should seal the lift. Then if it is feasible to respray with a new clear coat the whole roof would need flatting and touch ups can be removed.
