Default 1999 Moonstone green connie SE diesel *SOLD*

Having purchased a V6 I have decided my trusty moonstone green connie will have to go, I have had it for almost 4 yrs and it has served me well, had a clutch/cylinder replaced in 2011 but is slipping slightly on acceleration, might just need bleeding? bigruss remapped it 2 yrs ago to 160 and you can tell! it has had a replacement alternator and new belts fitted in January this year , last summer it had all brake pads replaced and rear shoes and discs, it has all the usual connie refinements although the abs light is on so the cruise control doesnt work, it has rear electric sunblind and anti glare rear view mirror, embossed front headrests, chrome skullcap mirrors, illuminated vanity mirrors, electric memory seats etc. The mot runs until november 2015 it has done a little over 182000 miles and starts first time. It will need a couple of tyres as one is a bit worn and one is in the boot shredded! with the spacesaver on the car due to a puncture on the motorway yesterday. it may also need a couple of drop links as it rattles a bit over bumps (bast**d speed humps on this estate). I am looking for £350 for it as I have priced all the bits up and could make that easily if I broke it. It also has service history and every mot since it was 3 year old plus a selection of receipts. Any questions please feel free to ask, I am located in Middleton Manchester.

Breaking a car is a nightmare as you'll be left with loads of bits no one wants and a shell that'll be difficult to move

I realised that which is why I'd prefer to sell it as a runner!

A very generous response to a cheeky offer, especially as the car is in a highly desirable colour.

Must say I've been VERY tempted by this one, only that our current one is also Moonstone and the other half (who in fairness is pretty easy-going about things 99% of the time) has expressed reservations about having two cars an identical colour ...

Hi.
I recently sold my faithful old 75 to a member for £300, it had 87,600 on the clock lots of history and decent MOT, OK it was a 1.8 but for a 1999 car I personally think its fair.
I agree about breaking up a car your left with a shell and lots of unwanted bits.
